Kaya Komodo Fiber Frame Grabbers with 4x SPF+ for 10GigE Vision

The Kaya Komodo Fiber series are economical, high performance frame-grabbers that can be configured for 10GigE Vision. These frame grabbers have either 4x SFP+ cages, or 4x SFP+ and 1x QSFP+ for optical transceivers.

Komodo fiber frame grabbers have 144GB available DDR3 memory and 128 Gbps throughput. Latency is minimal as the QSFP+ and SFP+ interfaces are connected directly to FPGA device transceiver channels.

A high speed 8 lane PCIe Express 55 Gbps Gen 3 interface allows fast video transfers between optical links and computer memory, and is also available for camera control.

Connection to devices externally is via GPIO for machine control signals such as triggers, shaft encoders, exposure control and general I/O. Control is separate from video stream acquisition.
