Kaya Instruments „Komodo“ KY-FGK-II-CXP-8ch is a CoaXPress 2.1 frame grabber with 8 channels at 12.5G each for 50 Gbps throughput. Host communication is via PCIe Gen3 with 16 lanes.

The Kaya Instruments “Komodo II” CoaXPress 12G frame grabber supports the CoaXPress v2.1 standard. It receives video streams from up to 8 CXP links in single, dual, or quad modes. It can also be used for simultaneous capture from multiple cameras. Each link supports standard CoaXPress bitrates of up to 12.5 Gbps.

The Komodo II CoaXPress 12G 8CH can easily receive video streams on the CoaXPress links and transmit them to computer memory through the PCIe interface. This CXP2 8CH frame grabber also provides an external GPIO for machine control signals, such as triggers, timers, shaft encoders, exposure control and general I/O which can be controlled besides video stream acquisition. This frame grabber uses standard Micro-BNC connectors as a CoaXPress interface to the camera. Host communication is via PCIe Gen3 x16 for video uploading and configuration.
